School robbed of computers
Five computers were stolen from the Mfundweni high school in Qeto village in Peddie, Eastern Cape police said on Wednesday.
Constable Thomas Mayoli said the caretaker at the school only discovered the robbery on arrival at the school on Tuesday morning.
“He called police on realising there had been a break-in at the school but no one has been arrested for the crime,” he said.
Police were also searching for robbers who broke into a house in the same village on Monday night, taking household appliances with them.
“The home owners were not home at the time but we suspect the robbers gained entry through a window,” he said. - Sapa
